| Bio: | So this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I'm still trying to find out how that could be. Perks of Being A Wallflower (p2) ABOUT ME: Louise, 22. Northern and proud. I'm nearly finished my MA in Music Management and Promotion at Northumbria University...just the dreaded dissertation to go. From the experiences and opportunities I've had throughout the year of the degree I've come to the conclusion that it's the journalism/press side of the industry that I'd like to get into. Quite ironic when you consider music journalism was a dream of mine when I was younger; it's amazing how these things come around. I won't be rushing into anything post-September, however; it'll be nice to have some consolidation time for once. You could probably call me a music addict. There's hardly an hour goes by when I'm not listening to something. I love it all; the music that puts butterflies in your stomach, that makes your heart beat fast, puts a smile on your face or the music that you can lose yourself in. I guess people would label what I mainly listen to as 'emo', but that word means nothing anymore, and I think 'alternative rock' (mid 1990s-now) would be a more accurate desctiption. Seeing live music is one of my favourite things in the entire world. Two weeks away from it and I start going crazy. I like to watch films. And read, and scrapbook. And watch sport and do inner-child-indulging things with my friends. And have coffees and pub lunches, yum. I'm also a big fan of travelling, whether that be via train, plane or automobile. The latter being the best. You really can't beat the 'enforced meditation' of a good drive. MY JOURNAL: Basically my frequent rambles about anything and everything. This journal is more for my benefit than anything else; I find writing my thoughts down here to be a bit of a release. That and I think it's a good way to keep track of life, I like being able to go back and remember past events and occurences. I often post my thoughts on things that are happening in the world generally (mainly sporting and musical) though not as often as I'd like. There's the occasional picspam, and lots of posts of me declaring my love for the band Brand New. You've been warned. I comment a lot.
